How To Mix a Drink
November 16th, 2011 | Author: Admin
Do you think that the recipes for cocktail drinks are complicated? Think
twice.
I've just hosted a cocktail party. It was tremendous fun without any
sweat! Just look at the pictures.
- - -
To learn how to mix a drink is easy. You don't need huge experience.
Following the recipes for cocktail drinks guarantee your success for
the first try. Use a jigger to get the exact amount of ingredients the
recipes for alcoholic drinks suggest. Then after the second or third
time you serve the same cocktail, you will know exactly how to mix a
drink.
My philosophy is to keep it simple. Here are some suggestions to help
you get the most success of the party:
* Choose recipes for cocktail drinks with only a few ingredients.
* Have one of the shot recipes on your menu and have one of the
cocktails with vodka. These are the most popular cocktails out
there.
* Don't serve more than 3 types of party cocktails.
* Relax and enjoy the company of your friends.

Best Places on Earth for Top Cocktails
October 3rd, 2011 | Author: Admin
Now, that we visited the Caribbeans, it's time to move forward and travel
some more. I found an interesting article about the "Hottest 10 Cocktail Bars
Around the World".
-
Are you in the mood for a top notch vodka cocktail or a unique rum
cocktail? Would you like to get cocktail ideas from the bests? Do you
like watching the performance of a pro bartender?
If you want to enjoy not only simple cocktails but also the top cocktails
ever, keep in mind where are the best places to go.
These are not cheap cocktails, of course, but hey, you worth it!
Here is what Daya Mukherjee collected to us:
Want to know all about the most happening bars in the world where the
cocktails and the ambience, both have exerted a magical spell over
patrons year after year. Making them flock to their portals again and
again. These cocktail bars have become landmarks in their respective
cities and a watering hole for similarly inclined souls.
Here's a look at the hottest 10 cocktail bars around the world.
1. Bemelmans Bar, New York. Exuding an old-world elegance and charm,
Bemelmans, the exquisitely done up bar at Carlyle Hotel, has been a
Manhattan icon for more than five decades now. This popular watering
hole has been attracting patrons from all walks of life like a magnet -
socialites, politicians, movie stars and the movers and shakers in
politics and Hollywood. Great drinks, great food and attentive service,
coupled with the iconic 24-carat gold leaf-covered ceiling, make this
one of the best lounge bars in the city and among the top bars in the
world.
2. The Connaught Bar, London. One of London's most popular and iconic
bars, the cocktails on the menu are a dramatic mix of tradition and
innovation. Nothing less than exclusive vintages and limited edition
champagnes, spirits and liqueurs are used, while the bartending staff
is famed to be among the best in the UK.
3. Le Lion, Hamburg. Hailed as one of the best cocktail bars in
Germany, the Le Lion boasts of tastefully done up interiors and
flawlessly prepared drinks. Knowledgeable bartenders who create every
cocktail with meticulous attention add to the overall experience.
4. Closerie des Lilas, Paris. Easily the cream of the crop in Paris,
this Parisian bar dates back to 1847. This 160-year old bar and
restaurant is something of a Parisian institution and has been
immortalised in two works of Ernest Hemmingway as well. In its heydays,
this bar was the favourite haunt of the literary and artistic
community. Rich in history, many celebrities have walked through its
portals to spend many a magical evening within its interiors. Classic
French cuisine and exquisite wines and cocktails - this is a must-visit
on any trip to Paris.
5. Manga Rosa, Lisbon. Located away from the central hustle and bustle
of main Lisbon city, the Manga Rosa is a mesmerising juxtaposition of
the industrial and the opulent. Real exposed pipes and ventilation
shafts loom overhead and on the sides even as glittering chandeliers
and extravagant decor complete the picture. It is a big hit with the
young crowd who throng the bar as much for its unique ambience as for
its great cocktails.
6. P J Clarke's, New York. A venerable New York institution in itself,
this 125-year old bar has a rich and colourful history. It is as famous
for its old world ambience as it is for its typically robust American
food and drinks. This much-loved saloon bar possesses historic charm, a
juke box and many a memorabilia of an era gone by.
7. Dry Martini Bar, Barcelona. Perhaps one of the few bars in the world
dedicated to that iconic cocktail, the martini, the Dry Martini Bar is
located right in the centre of Barcelona. The theme of martini
dominates the decor everywhere in this classic cocktail bar, while the
menu groans under the weight of more than hundred forms of this popular
cocktail. There are also leather banquettes, and wooden cabinets that
proudly display centuries-old bottles.
8. Pusser's New York Bar, Munich. The bar derives its name from the
famous original Navy rum - Pusser's Rum. Located on a quiet side street
in Munich, this bar flaunts a nautical theme, British naval
paraphernalia from the 18th and 19th centuries - naval flags, old
advertisements and historical photos - are on prominent display
everywhere. It is also one of the last few piano bars in Munich and
specialises in Caribbean-inspired and rum-based cocktails.
9. Bar K, Osaka. Just a few kilometres outside Kyoto, Bar K in Osaka,
may have all the trappings of a classic American bar, but its whiskeys
are intensely Japanese. Exuding a quiet elegance, the bar is extremely
well-stocked with Scotch and Japanese whiskeys and the cocktails are a
connoisseur's delight. The knowledgeable bartenders display great
precision and style in mixing the drinks - a sight to behold in itself.
10. Saphire Bar, Berlin. This is one of Berlin's best whiskey bars
which features a staggering variety of cocktails as well. Elegant decor
with white leather sofas invite its patrons to sip the bar's signature
whiskeys and cocktails and enjoy a memorable evening.

There is no tropical dream vacation without quality, top cocktails. The
combination of fruit with alcohol helps us refresh and relax at the
same time. But be careful in the Caribbean! Some uninvited guests can
steal your mixed cocktail drinks.

Simple Cocktails Guide - Insider Ideas
September 24th, 2011 | Author: Admin
-
Here is my opinion about home parties with simple cocktails - in a nutshell
Throwing a cocktail party is an easy, yet fancy way to impress your
friends. You may think that this kind of social gathering is the
privilege of the rich. In fact, you don't have to spend a fortune.
There are tons and tons of simple cocktails you can choose from to
serve to your guests. Preparing these drinks in front of them is
already fun itself. Not to mention the part when they taste it!
It does not require a diploma or certificate at bartending to master
your skills. Ideas for cocktail parties will come to your mind quickly
and easily as soon as you familiarize yourself with the basics. Not
even the sky is the limit to express your creativity in the variations
of simple cocktail recipes.
Purchasing the necessary tools and ingredients for cocktails is not
nearly as expensive as preparing for a dinner party. Getting ready for
this event also takes much less time than cooking or baking for hours
in the kitchen. Still, you will be the center of the evening, providing
a great, relaxing atmosphere to your guests after a hectic,
responsibility-filled day.
Choosing the appropriate glassware will make you look like a pro right
up front. Depending on the recipe, cocktails are served in champagne
glass, martini glass, sherry glass, Highball glass, Collins glass, rock
glass or shot glass. Each of them has a unique aesthetic and functional
purpose. You only have to invest in glassware once. Then you can use
all these glasses over and over again, impressing your friends each and
every time you're having a party.
The other one-time investment you need to make is to purchase the
proper equipment for your cocktail recipes. The two main tools are a
blender and a cocktail shaker. Make sure to choose the blender with
sharp blades and strong motor as you will use it to crush ice. Lots of
cocktails require crushed ice for the perfect effect; you will keep
your blender busy. Owning a cocktail shaker is also essential. You can
buy a two-piece-Boston shaker with separate strainer or a
three-piece-shaker with built-in strainer. Having a stainless steel
shaker not only looks good but also "tells you" when a cocktail is well
shaken and chilled by the appeared condensation on its outside surface.
Stacking up your home bar with liquor gives the "spirit" to your
cocktails. There is a wide variety of spirits you can experiment with
to create awesome drink-miracles. Vodka has such a neutral flavor that
it goes well with numerous different kinds of aromas. Fruity, sweet,
dry or bitter drinks all welcome this Russian originated spirit. The
American Bourbon whiskey is excellent part of bitter and sour drinks
that you can create by adding fresh mint leaves or lemon juice. Rum is
a lovely addition in lots of sweet and fruity cocktails. Tequila
actually can be consumed straight on your party as well since the
"licking salt - gulping Tequila - biting lemon wedge ritual" is a huge
success itself. But mixing it with other ingredients also brings smile
on your guests' face. Gin is a berry based spicy liquor. Its unique
flavor is the base of lots of drink creations (such as James Bond's
Martini).
After giving "spirits" to your cocktails you will also need to "dress
them up" by decorating with garnishes. This way your simple cocktails
will not only taste good but look good too. Garnish is like
advertisement. It sells your quality product. Just think about the same
tropical cocktail with and without a colorful paper umbrella. Which one
would you prefer to taste? Exactly! The one with the little umbrella in
it. You can also rim the glass or create decoration of fruits or other
edibles. Your popularity at the party is guaranteed!

Enter your search keyword(s) and the keyword "zorgium" into the search input field of

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
